  3. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #8355 (Does not recognize gpg-agent) updated Hey! There is still a problem, if only gpg2 and no gpg1 is installed. With gpg2 only there is no binary 'gpg'. So Gajim does not recognize, that a gpg version is installed. A symlink from gpg to gpg2 helps. Gajim should try gpg2 if gpg was not found. 4. q55 hello guys, can I accept file transfers automatically in Gajim?
  5. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #8391 (Bug) closed invalid: Should go in Gajim plugin's Trac https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/8391#comment:3 • Ticket #8355 (Does not recognize gpg-agent) closed fixed: @Elessar: please report that to python-gnupg upstream. That's the library we use. https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/8355#comment:13
  6. arune lovetox: did you see my questions above?
  7. lovetox about text on the gajim wiki?
  8. Link Mauve Hi people (tmolitor probably), when trying to save a seemingly JPEG avatar, I get: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/gajim/src/dialogs.py", line 1453, in on_response self.possible_responses[response_id](dialog) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/dialogs.py", line 1549, in on_response_ok self.user_response_ok[0](*self.user_response_ok[1:]) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/gtkgui_helpers.py", line 739, in on_ok pixbuf.savev(file_path, 'jpeg', [], []) AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'savev'
  9. arune lovetox, yes, installation instructions
  10. lovetox yeah i change it later
  11. arune 👌👌👌
  12. lovetox hm Link Mauve
  13. Link Mauve arune, you said you were interested in Gajim issues on default the other day, here is what I found in about 20 minutes: https://linkmauve.fr/files/gajim-warts.txt
  14. lovetox works for me without problems
  15. Link Mauve I stopped just because of a crash, but I only exerted the features in MUC, normal chat, and discovery.
  16. Link Mauve All of those should be fixed before thinking about a release.
  17. lovetox thanks for writing that down
  18. Link Mauve I’m very sorry I can’t help more, especially wrt writing code. :(
  19. Link Mauve But then I don’t use Gajim.
  20. Link Mauve It also crashed Weston at some point, but I haven’t noted how to reproduce that. ^^
  21. Link Mauve And then it’s fully a Weston issue, it should never, in any circumstances, crash.
  22. linus Nice
  23. lovetox whats Weston?
  24. linus Reference Wayland compositor
  25. Link Mauve The compositor I work on, at work.
  26. linus You work on Weston? :o that's awesome
  27. Link Mauve Yeah, we have a ton of clients who pay us for that. ^^
  28. linus We?
  29. Link Mauve Collabora.
  30. linus Ooh nice! I was hoping to maybe get a job with Collabora when I graduate
  31. Link Mauve https://collabora.com/ for the marketing front.
  32. Link Mauve Heh, that’s exactly what I did. :)
  33. Link Mauve Although I did it in order to graduate, as I needed an internship for that.
  34. linus I'd much rather get paid to work on free software than on non-free software
  35. Link Mauve That’s exactly why I joined. :)
  36. Link Mauve Alright, so it’s now 4am, I’m going to sleep again. ^^
  37. Link Mauve See you tomorrow. \o_
  38. Link Mauve lovetox, just found the reason the avatar couldn’t be saved: <PHOTO> <TYPE/> <BINVAL/> </PHOTO>
  39. Link Mauve And then loading spinner loads forever.
  40. Link Mauve I just appended it to the file.
