  61. Robert nice :-)
  62. Robert thanks
  63. Link Mauve :)
  64. Robert do you know it is working in conversations?
  65. Link Mauve As of the latest version, yes.
  66. Link Mauve They finally added it. :)
  67. Robert and how?
  68. Link Mauve No idea.
  69. Robert :)
  70. Robert no problem
  71. Robert long press on last message is not working...
  72. Link Mauve I still haven’t had the occasion to test this client, as I installed ArchLinux on my only Android machine…
  73. Robert you mean on a smartphone?? =-O
  74. Robert tets
  75. Robert test
  76. Link Mauve No, this is a Dragonboard.
  77. Link Mauve My smartphone is running Debian.
  78. Link Mauve Its CPU is too old for ALARM. :(
  79. tmolitor rober: looks strange...seems like your prosody doesn't allow http uploads...
  80. tmolitor robert: see above
  81. Robert tmolitor: yes but why?
  82. Robert I can access the webpage successfully
  83. tmolitor robert: in the global section I use something like this: https_ssl = { key = "/etc/prosody/certs/upload.example.org.key"; certificate = "/etc/prosody/certs/upload.example.org.crt"; } and this is the component: Component "proxy.xmpp.eightysoft.de" "http_upload" http_upload_file_size_limit = 10 * 1024 * 1024 -- this is 10MB in bytes
  84. tmolitor yes...but this is a GET request, not a PUT....but the put is failing...
  85. Robert Hmm... No idea what to do
  86. Robert Config looks simila
  87. tmolitor you could place some file in the httpupload directory manually and then try to download this file with your browser...but this would only test GET...
  88. tmolitor I have an idea...
  89. tmolitor wait a moment...
  90. Robert sure
  91. tmolitor robert: open the xml console and send this: <iq xmlns="jabber:client" to="upload.example.org" type="get" id="aa5ac6981-200c-4ff7-96f1-2737da142ca7"> <request xmlns="urn:xmpp:http:upload"> <filename>test.png</filename> <size>100000</size> <content-type>image/png</content-type> </request> </iq>
  92. tmolitor replace upload.example.org with the name of your upload component...
  93. tmolitor you should get a put and get url back...
  94. tmolitor try to access the put url with your browser...
  95. tmolitor what do you get?
  96. tmolitor robert: besides that, my prosody debug log shows this for a successfull upload: Feb 24 16:57:16 socket debug try to start ssl at client id: 9414db0 Feb 24 16:57:16 socket debug accepted incoming client connection from: 1.2.3.4 12345 to 5281 Feb 24 16:57:16 socket debug starting handshake... 97. tmolitor note the "upload.example.org:http_upload info File uploaded [...]" I didn't see this in your log...
  98. Robert Looks intresting i will test it later
  99. Robert Thank you again
  100. tmolitor no problem :)
  101. ganatronic Probably a really dumb question. Every time I open gajim and connect to my account, it automatically opens up a group chat room (that I created). No one uses the room anymore, and I don't want to it to autoconnect. I destroyed the room, and yet it still connects! How do I get this room to not show up when I first connect?
  102. Link Mauve ganatronic, it’s probably still in your bookmarks, see Actions > Groupchat > Manage groupchats (or something close).
  103. ganatronic Ooh, thanks Link! All fixed now.
  104. ganatronic I feel like I should have found that on my own... but I was just going in circles
  105. Link Mauve :)
  106. Robert tmolitor‎ i have tried your code
  107. Robert <get>https://url:5281/upload/56b8e7a9-e671-45b3-b912-eb36c9b26bc3/test.png</get> <put>https://url:5281/upload/56b8e7a9-e671-45b3-b912-eb36c9b26bc3/test.png</put>
  108. Robert if i opend this in browser i get 404 not found...
  109. Robert any idea?
  110. Robert Test
  111. tmolitor robert: that's good...at least no 401 (and 404 is right...the file isn't there because you didn't upload something at this point )
  112. tmolitor now we use another tool to upload a file and try if this works...I just have to remember the name of this tool :/
  113. Robert :D
  114. tmolitor I used it a lot half a year ago when I initially developed the httpupload plugin...
