Gajim - 2016-02-20

  1. Asterix tmolitor: arg you made me loose all my offline messages from last week (if I had)
  2. tmolitor Asterix: why that? :o
  3. Asterix
  4. Asterix you haven't tested this patch with default branch (under py3) right?
  5. Asterix now I have that: 02/20/2016 16:02:34 (E) gajim.c.ged Error while running an even handler: <bound method Connection._nec_gc_message_outgoing of <common.connection.Connection object at 0x7f824e98fe80>> Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/asterix/gajim/src/common/", line 93, in raise_event if handler(*args, **kwargs): File "/home/asterix/gajim/src/common/", line 2762, in _nec_gc_message_outgoing automatic_message=obj.automatic_message, msg_id=obj.msg_id)) AttributeError: 'GcMessageOutgoingEvent' object has no attribute 'automatic_message'

  9. tmolitor asterix: no, I only tested it against the 0.16 branch and assumed it would be the same...sorry :(
  10. Asterix tmolitor: I should have done it. Anyway it's fixed.I'll look at the pther error later
  11. tmolitor asterix: well, I shouldn't have made such assumptions about the code in the first place...
  12. tmolitor asterix: what other error do you mean?

  17. tmolitor asterix: strange...are there some events in default that are not in 0.16? I thought I added this automatic_message property to all relevant events....
  18. Asterix tmolitor: even GcMessageOutgoingEvent? This event is in both branches
  19. tmolitor asterix: well, I think least I tested all patches with my gajim 0.16 for 2-3 days and all worked well...
  20. tmolitor gajim 0.16.5-a43f0fa77a26 to be exact
  21. Asterix I think you put it in MessageOutgoingEvent, not GcMessageOutgoingEvent
  22. Asterix a43f0fa77a26 isn't in my repos ...
  23. Asterix hmm yes it is, but not related:
  24. tmolitor asterix: well, what is the difference between MessageOutgoingEvent and GcMessageOutgoingEvent?
  25. tmolitor is this something related only to the default branch?
  26. Asterix gc = groupchat
  27. Asterix I think that adding automatic_message to GcMessageOutgoingEvent + setting this automatic_message to False when sending a groupchat message should do it.
  28. Asterix strange that it's ok in 0.16 branch
  29. Asterix time to sleep. Will see that later
  30. tmolitor asterix: yes, I think that should do it :)
  31. tmolitor and yes, very strange...
