  1. daniel Asterix: please highlight me if you come online
  2. arune kalkin, you found the correct switches for state messages?
  3. kalkin arune: yes
  4. arune tmolitor, did not find anything interesting in the gajim debug log, when sending from linux it works and those can be seen in windows gajim, but when sending with windows the emojis does not show up in the chat log
  5. tmolitor Arune:Strange...
  6. Johannes nice, the python2 / 16.4 / gtk2 only requires minor fixes to at least get some support for osx
  7. Johannes However the plugin-manager misses the part that would allow to download new plugins...
  8. nt Hello, I am trying to understand how the libnotify popups work using Gnome. Based on my testing they only appear during a "New Message" event which seems tied to whether a chat tab in Gajim is currently opened.
  9. nt test.

  12. kalkin nt: it would be nice if you use some other channel for testing 😉

  14. kalkin Asterix: talk to daniel if you have not yet its really important
  15. Asterix I did, I'm fixing

  21. Asterix he has problems with his client
  22. nt ...
  23. nt yes!
  24. nt OK, so I'd like some info about how the libnotify pops work in Gajim. I find that the only way to get a popup is if the window/tab for a chat is closed, and then a "New Message" event occurs. I frequently leave message windows/tabs open for my contacts, and in that case I am not notified of new messages if I minimize gajim.
  25. nt Is this configurable?
  26. Asterix with the triggers plugin, yes
  27. nt Asterix, thanks, I will check that out!
  28. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #8201 (traceback on launch) closed invalid: it's a plugin issue. It's now fixed.
  29. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #8200 (Request: option to choose status after returning from "auto away") updated Auto away means auto come back. And auto means no user interaction. I don't think having a message window asking if we're really back is user friendly. In your situation you'll go back online, and 5 minutes later go back away. What's the problem with that?
