FabianI am experiencing some serious CPU spikes while typing in conversations (100% on one core). Does anyone have an idea how I could figure out what exactly is causing it? Disabling encryption didn't change anything. Disabling all notifications when typing didn't change anything either. System is Windows 8.1 x64.

"listen_to_network_manager" is activated, I've checked that before. about the logs… what should I look for in the dbus log? It has a lot of personal info in there so I don't want to just attach it here

Link MauveFabian, does it happen on every conversation? Does it start after a certain time, after a certain event, with only a certain set of contacts, etc.?
Link MauveAlso, you could look at the debug logs, they are in some log file on Windows IIRC.
FabianIt happens in every window right from the beginning.
FabianI don't even have to actually send the messages. Just typing is enough.
Link MauveThen the logs would be helpful, but I fear I won’t be able to help you much further. :/
FabianJust having the Gajim window open and pressing and holding the cursor key causes CPU to go up to 100%. Doesn't happen in any other application.
FabianDo I have to turn on logging first? Didn't find anything that looks like a debug log anywhere.
Link MauveHmm, IIRC it was automated, on Linux you have to give it the -v option, but I’m not sure how it works on Windows. :x
