  7. arune Link Mauve, in windows, taskkill /f gives a risk of a few files getting in an inconsistent state
  8. Link Mauve I don’t know how Gajim handles that, but on Linux kill sends a SIGTERM by default, which the application can catch to do whatever before terminating itself.
  9. Link Mauve SIGKILL does what you are saying, immediately stopping the program, without any way for it to handle that.
  10. SamWhited Does Windows even have anything like signals? I kind of doubt it.
  11. arune if i send a "softer" taskkill to gajim it will close the roster/window but remain running (still able to open through tray)
  12. arune Im trying to push a gajim configuration change to our employees, one line in Config
  13. arune my idea was to do this during logon with windows logon script
  14. arune but gajim starts at the same time as the script executes

Fixes #7973 https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7973#comment:1 • Ticket #7974 (Chat window isn't updated with MAM messages) updated That's very complex to do if we want to keep chronological order of messages. https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7974#comment:1
  18. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7976 ("Change Password" Dialog disfunctional) updated Status changed I can't reproduce. Change password works correctly for me with latest hg version in gajim_0.16 branch, and the change_password_dialog.ui has the password1_entry widget. You maybe have some modifications in your files that are not in our official repository? https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7976#comment:1
