  4. slav0nic Zash, ah cacert ... ok
  5. Ralf Hi all - the gajim OTR plugin is suspiciously fast at generating the OTR key. that takes 30-60s with libotr, as I would excepct if there's RSA with huge primes involved. yet pidgin takes <1s. is there something fishy going on?
  6. NUF hey there. I'm interested in the xep 313 support and would like to see it in a stable version. until this time i try to use the patch from , but im not so familiar in such things. against which build i need to patch it? i tried the current 0.16 tarball and get "1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file src/"
  7. Ralf each time I click a link in gajim, I get a "program error" with a python exception. I click on "report bug", which just triggers the next program error... ;-)
  8. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7869 (a traceback when restoring gajim from systray) created I restored gajim from Ubuntu MATE system tray and saw this traceback window: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/gajim/src/", line 2368, in read_sleepy gajim.status_before_autoaway[account]) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/", line 2134, […] • Cha[…]
  9. Ralf which files do I need to delete fir gajim to forget its config? I delted ~/.config/gajim and ~/.local/share/gajim, does that suffice?
  10. Ralf *argh* THANKS for throwing away what I wrote for this ticket. after hitting preview I got the message Im not allowed to submit a ticket, and the browser back button doesnt work. usually "preview" is non-destructive so I didnt to the Ctrl-C dance. awesome. :(
  11. Ralf ah *phew* after verification, hitting f5 borught the text back :)
  12. NUF grats )
  13. Ralf sry for the outburst of frustration
  14. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7873 (Program error when clicking on a link: Browser not properly detected) created When I click on a link anywhere in the gajim interface, I get a "programming error" with the following stacktrace: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/gajim/src/", line 1014, in _hyperlink_handler self.hyperlink_handler(texttag, widget, event, iter_, kind) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/", line 1[…]
  15. Ralf wow, I see you have DNSSEC enabled for your domain, nice :) any reason you don't have your certificae hashes in TLSA records?
  16. Link Mauve Asterix isn’t here, he’s the one in charge of the DNS (and of the project itself).
  17. Ralf I see, so I guess I'll ask again when I see him around.
  18. Link Mauve NUF, as for your issue, the last patch seems to be from about 8 months ago, maybe try a Gajim of that time, or try to resolve the conflict when applying the patch.
  19. Link Mauve You may want to drop a message in the bug report asking for an update, btw.
  20. NUF thanks for answer Link Mauve, i tried the last tarball before the date of the patch file, and get the same error
  21. Link Mauve If you are unable to fix its issues on the latest 0.16, post a comment on that ticket.
  22. Link Mauve So that it doesn’t get forgotten.
  23. NUF ok. i will try
  24. NUF thanks
  25. NUF I was looking on the code and from my point of view the change there is anyway superseeded by newer version and the patch error doesnt matter. anyway see no effects. i will try to post a comment
  26. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7635 ([FIX] Can't connect to Facebook chat) updated Agreed, same thing under LinuX
  27. scounder hi i am trying to use some XMPP servers that want me to enable OTR just to speak in the MUC
