  1. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7659 (Can't use rich text formatting with Google Talk) created Bug description Text formatting options grayed out when chatting with Google Talk users. Tooltip says "This contact does not support HTML" I could not find any references at all to rich text formatting or HTML with Google Talk. I checked the FAQ, looked through tickets, ran a lot of custom Google searches, and tried to ask about this in the Gajim sup[…] https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7659
  2. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7659 (Can't use rich text formatting with Google Talk) closed invalid: unfortunately Google Talk doesn't run on my OS, so I can't test. But the message means that this client doesn't announce (via caps) that it does understand HTML formatting. So Gajim does the right thing: don't use a feature that other doesn't support. https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7659#comment:1
  3. johnny gajim is still alive, that's good
  4. Asterix of course it is! I don't have time to do much things unfortunatly, but I try ...
  5. Zash Hey Asterix, what's the status of MAM in Gajim?
  6. Asterix still the same: the disco part is not done, so it's not really usable
  7. Zash The <x> tag thing I mentioned will be in 0.10
  8. Asterix Gajim 0.10 (01 May 2006)
  9. Zash Prosody 0.10 (TBD)
  10. Asterix ha :) ok
  11. Asterix the x tag mentionning it's a pm or not?
  12. Zash Yes
  13. Asterix is it in a XEP?
  14. Zash The MUC XEP has it for presence that passes trough
  15. Asterix we're not interested in presences but in messages with MAM
  16. Zash I know
  17. Zash "put this <x> tag in PMs" isn't in any XEP
  18. Asterix so this behaviour is only for prosody, that's nice, but we'll still have to do the disco thing for it to be usable for all servers
  19. Asterix and I think a little useless
  20. Asterix because when we receive a message without this <x>, we can't know if it's a normal message or not
  21. Asterix maybe it's a pm from a server that doesn't add this <x> tag
  22. bot RSS: Feeds for Gajim • Ticket #7652 (gajim.exe --help makes gajim crash) updated I can also confirm this bug. The normal start of Gajim in Windows works correctly. https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7652#comment:1
