  1. Maranda is still waiting #7499 patch to be at least looked at >_>.
  2. henk another programming error: http://pastie.org/8374124 well, probably the same, but I keep getting a popup about programming errors, so I guess you like them and the info about it enough to ANNOY YOUR USERS WITH SILLY POPUPS EVERYTIME YOU FSCKED UP YOUR CODE. So I’m gonna annoy you guys with it. That’s fair, is it not? (:
  3. henk oh, for that to really work, I should probably paste the traceback in here or no one will be really annoyed …
  4. henk Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/nbxmpp/idlequeue.py", line 534, in _process_events return IdleQueue._process_events(self, fd, flags) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/nbxmpp/idlequeue.py", line 395, in _process_events obj.pollin() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/nbxmpp/transports_nb.py", line 423, in pollin self._do_receive() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/nbxmpp/transports_nb.py", line 609, in _do_receive self._on_receive(received) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/nbxmpp/transports_nb.py", line 623, in _on_receive self.on_receive(data) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/nbxmpp/dispatcher_nb.py", line 488, in dispatch handler['func'](session, stanza) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/common/connection_handlers.py", line 1864, in _messageCB conn=self, stanza=msg, account=self.name)) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/common/nec.py", line 76, in push_incoming_event self._generate_events_based_on_incoming_event(event_object) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/common/nec.py", line 98, in _generate_events_based_on_incoming_event if new_event_object.generate(): File "/usr/share/gajim/src/common/connection_handlers_events.py", line 1138, in generate self.session.handle_negotiation(form) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/session.py", line 419, in handle_negotiation self.respond_e2e_bob(form, negotiated, not_acceptable) File "/usr/share/gajim/src/common/stanza_session.py", line 813, in respond_e2e_bob self.modp = int(form.getField('modp').getOptions()[group_order][1]) AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getOptions'
  5. henk wow, you even saw that coming …
  6. Link Mauve henk, it is the same traceback as yesterday, isn’t it?
  7. henk I hope so … Wouldn’t be a very good sign about the code quality if it was not …
  8. Link Mauve I don’t remember the first lines, but the last two are the exact same.
  9. Link Mauve I don’t know e2e, but it seems your contact doesn’t include a required field.

  11. Marc I am using a Jabber account to communicate with other Jabber account (IM). How can I start Gajim with my account being set as offline or hidden? Thanks.
  12. Marc Gajim 0.15 on Fedora
  13. Link Mauve Marc, in the account manager, uncheck the autoconnect box.
  14. Marc Link Mauve, you mean Connect on Gajim startup (general)
  15. Marc Link Mauve, that's not exactly what I am looking for. I would like to start Gajim with my account connected, but my status set to offline or hidden. Can I do that?
  16. Link Mauve Marc, I’m not sure, and I can’t launch Gajim currently, but IIRC it’s in the second tab of a specific account.
  17. Link Mauve Ah, that.
  18. Link Mauve I don’t know.
  19. vorner Connected but offline? What?
  20. vorner Doesn't offline mean not connected?
  21. Link Mauve vorner, he wants invisible.
  22. Marc vorner, yes, in the same way I can set my status to offline or invisible when my account is connected.
  23. Marc I have looked at menu Action --> advanced --> edit privacy list, but I don't know what is it for?
  24. Link Mauve Marc, offline means offline, you aren’t connected, and that’s exactly what the option I told you about does.
  25. Marc Link Mauve, so what I am looking for is probably to start Gajim with my status set as hidden.
  26. Link Mauve That’s called invisible.
  27. Link Mauve But I don’t know how to do it, sorry.
  28. Marc Link Mauve: invisible. okay.
  29. vorner Marc: You could probably start as offline from a script and use gajim-remote from the script to switch to invisible then.
  30. Marc vorner, that's an idea. I will search the wiki or the man page for the syntax.
  31. vorner type gajim-remote, it'll tell you available options ;-)
  32. Marc vorner, thank you.
  33. Marc Link Mauve, I can start my account with the invisible status now, I am good. Thanks.
  34. Marc what is the Local account for? I have disabled it.
  35. Link Mauve It’s to discover other people on your local network.
  36. Link Mauve How did you set the connection status?
  37. Marc By simply clearing "Connect on Gajim Startup" and "Synchronise account status with global status". When I launch Gajim, the account is disabled. Since I have a single Jabber account. I start it by right-clicking on it and selecting: Status --> Invisible. I don't need a stating script as long as I use a single account.
  38. Marc Does the invisible mode works with Google Talk accounts too?
  39. Marc How can I change the display time in the chat window from [HH:MM:SS] to [HH:MM]?
  40. pocek Marc: Preferences -> Advanced -> Advanced Configuration Editor -> time_stamp
  41. Marc pocek, thank you!
